· Original commercial document to be signed by the Consular Officer of the Embassy. (Please note: Commercial document should be notarized and apostilled from the ministry of foreign affairs, Denmark before it is presented to Embassy for attestation)

4. Academic Degree / Marriage Certificate/Birth Certificate
Requirements for attestation of Academic Degree / Certificate: If original degree / certificate is to be attested:
· Original and a photocopy of the Degree/Certificate duly attested by the General Administration Department of the concerned State and the Consular Section, Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi.
· Current passport in original and copies (first & last page)
· Original and photocopy of CPR Card and Residence Permit (front & back side)
If a copy of the degree / certificate is to be attested:

Requirements for attestation of Life Certificate:
· Come personally at the Embassy's counter
· Original and one photocopy of the Life Certificate in the Format prescribed by the concerned Bank/Institution to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy
· Current passport in original and copies (first & last page)
· Original and photocopy of CPR Card and Residence Permit (front & back side)
8. Bank Account Opening Form (NRI/NRO)
Requirements for attestation of bank account opening form:
· Original and one photocopy of the Account Opening Form as prescribed by the concerned Bank/Institution to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
· Current passport in original and copies (first & last page)
· Original and photocopy of CPR Card and Residence Permit (front & back side)
9. Driving License Attestation
Requirements for attestation Driving License Attestation:
· Copy of driving license
· Either print out of driving licence details from the internet (state RTO website) OR a letter from the corresponding RTO in India (A copy will do, original not required)
· Copy of Passport (first & last page)
· Original for verification and photocopy of CPR Card and Residence Permit (front & back side)
· Payment can be made by Dankort or online transfer (a copy of online transfer is required)

10. Re-issuance of International Driving Permit (IDP)
Requirements for re-issuance of IDP are:
· Copy of expired IDP
· Copy of valid domestic driving licence;
· Print out of driving licence details from the internet (state RTO website) OR a letter from the corresponding RTO in India
· Copy of Passport ((first & last page)
· Copies of CPR card and residence permit
Note: Mission will issue a receipt to the applicant. Applicant will have to apply for fresh issue of IDP through the portal www.parivahan.gov.in and upload the documents including the receipt issued by the Embassy. On receipt of application through the portal, the licensing authority, on verification of the documents, shall issue the IDP and shall courier it directly to the address of the applicant.
11. Police Clearance Certificate
Requirements for Police Clearance Certificate:
· Print out of duly filled Online PCC Application Form
· Two recent passport-size photographs
· Letter from Embassy which has asked for Police Clearance Certificate
· Please note that PCC will be issued subject to prior Police clearance from India. As this will take some time, please apply well in advance

12. Birth Certificate & Registration
Requirements for Birth Certificate & Registration
· The birth of every child born to Indian parent(s) in Denmark is required to be registered with the Embassy of India, Copenhagen, within one year of the birth of child under Section 4(1) of the Indian Citizenship Act, 1955.
· A Birth Certificate is issued by the Embassy to the child after registering his/her name as an Indian national.
· An application should also be filed online for issue of an Indian Passport to the New Born child. The printed copy of the application should be submitted to the Embassy with photograph of the child and applicable fees
· The registration for Indian Citizenship by descent under Section 4(1) of the Indian Citizenship Act, 1955 should be made online only at https://mha.nic.in/icweb/ic_form_public.aspx.
[Note: Indian Nationals born in Denmark whose birth was registered with the Embassy, may apply for a duplicate copy of the Birth Certificate on payment of Dkr 170. They should provide details of original registration (date and number) and also fill up Birth Certificate Form in duplicate. ]
13. Emergency Certificate (Emergency Certificate for travelling back to India):
Requirements for issue of an Emergency Certificate for one-way travel to India in case of non-availability of a valid Passport with the applicant and where a new passport cannot be issued

14. Solemnizing Marriage
Under the Foreign Marriage Act, 1969, the Embassy is authorized to solemnize a marriage when one or both the partners are Indian citizens and are residing abroad.
Requirements - When one partner is Indian and the other partner is a foreigner:
·An advertisement in the newspaper (both in English and the native language of the Indian partner) in India which is widely read in the hometown of boy/girl giving the name/address and other particulars of the boy/girl, announcing their intention to marry and that if anyone has any objection to the marriage, he/she may contact the Embassy of India, Copenhagen.
· A letter from the Embassy of the country to which the foreign partner belongs stating that the Embassy does not have any objection to the marriage of its national.
· An affidavit (Form 8A.pdf) from a court in India on stamp paper issued by a notary and advocate stating that the parents of the Indian partner do not have any objection to the marriage. This affidavit is to be produced by the Indian partner only. Affidavit should be strictly on the lines of the specimen provided in Form 8A.pdf
· Photocopies of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passports of both partners.
· One passport size recent colour photograph each of both the partners.
· Marriage Declaration form (Form 8B.pdf) to be submitted to the Consular Officer, duly signed by the partners. The Form is to be signed before the Consular Officer who would attest the same on payment of attestation fee of DKr. 85
· Marriage fees of Dkr 425/- is to be deposited at the time of submission of the Notice of Intended Marriage (Form 8C.pdf), other documents listed at Sl. 1 to 5 above, at least three months prior to the proposed date of marriage.

· One passport size recent colour photograph each of both the partners.
· Marriage Declaration form (Form 8B.pdf) to be submitted to the Consular Officer, duly signed by the partners. The Form is to be signed before the Consular Officer who would attest the same on payment of attestation fee of Dkr. 85/-
· Marriage fees of DKr. 400/- is to be deposited at the time of submission of the Notice of Intended Marriage (Form 8C.pdf), other documents listed at Sl. 1 to 5 above, at least three months prior to the proposed date of marriage.
15. Import of Pets under Baggage
The Central Board of Excise & Customs has re-examined the present policy of import of two pets by passengers in view of representations received in this regard. Accordingly, it has been decided to allow import of two pet animals as baggage only to persons transferring their residence to India after two years of continuous stay abroad in terms of Baggage Rules 1998 subject to production of the required health certificate from the country of origin and examination of the said pets by the concerned Quarantine Officer. This new dispensation shall come into force with effect from 15th April, 2013.
